Haley King  Haley King is a full time student at Linn-Benton Community college. She came here so she could easily transfer to her dream school, Oregon State University. She wants to major in psychology and eventually go on and work for a non profit organization, helping others anyway she can as that is what she is passionate about in life. Haley is from Vancouver, Washington and moved to Oregon to attend school. She loves Oregon and Washington but she said her dream would be to live in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.    Mason Lux Mason Lux is an Environmental science major who plans to transfer from Linn Benton Community College to Oregon State University. Mason is from Vancouver, Washington and moved all the way to Albany in order to attend Linn Benton. He works at Sedicci's pizza part time while being a full time student. Nico Wolff 4/8/19 Photographer: Richard Avedon Richard Avedon is an American fashion and portrait photographer. He was from New York and started getting into photography when he was 12 years of age. He was from a jewish family and his father was a Russian native who moved to New York before Richard was born. Richard passed away in 2004 at the age of 81. His claim to fame was when the New York times said “his fashion and portrait photographs helped define American image of style, beauty and culture for the last half century.” This quote really proves itself to be true when you see his work, it stands out that his eye for style really did influence a lot of the trends we used to see.

Nico Wolff 4/11/19 Photojournalism Humans of LBCC Gabriel Sosa Gabriel is a Monmouth native who attended Central high school where he won two state championships in basketball. With plans to graduate in the summer majoring in criminal justice, he wants to attend Western Oregon University and finish his bachelors in criminal justice, but for now, he enjoys Linn Benton because “the instructors are very caring, and truly do a good job.” Gabriel could not stay away from the basketball court after high school as he still coaches youth basketball while being a full time student. Gabriel enjoys spending time with friends and having good conversations. Everett Brandt Everett is a student athlete at Linn Benton who majors in electrical and computer engineering. Everett decided to attend Linn Benton because he was offered a basketball scholarship after a stellar high school career. About me) I am a student at Linn Benton community college, looking to not only obtain my associates degree but also figure out what I want to do for work in life. I took this class because it was by far the most appealing option I had. I would also like to learn more about myself in this class, as I have always thought photography would be something I very much enjoy. My goals) My goal in this class is to not only learn more about taking good photos, but also explore something that has always been interesting to me; photography. LBCC photo) I feel taking photos for the baseball team and interviewing players after the game would make for a quality subject 3 Ideas) Taking pictures of staff and talking about their classes and field of expertise. Also taking pictures of the baseball team would be a good idea, but most of all taking nice pictures of the campus that a lot of people say isn't very nice.
