Gabriel Sosa
Gabriel is a Monmouth native who attended Central high school where he won two state championships in basketball. With plans to graduate in the summer majoring in criminal justice, he wants to attend Western Oregon University and finish his bachelors in criminal justice, but for now, he enjoys Linn Benton because “the instructors are very caring, and truly do a good job.” Gabriel could not stay away from the basketball court after high school as he still coaches youth basketball while being a full time student. Gabriel enjoys spending time with friends and having good conversations.

Everett Brandt
Everett is a student athlete at Linn Benton who majors in electrical and computer engineering. Everett decided to attend Linn Benton because he was offered a basketball scholarship after a stellar high school career. It was a big transition for Everett as he moved from Eugene to Albany for a wonderful opportunity to pursue the education he wanted and play the sport he loves. Everett’s elite shooting ability and nuclear athleticism allowed him to be a key player in Linn Benton 2017 final four appearance. In 2018, Everett was a standout player with a unique ability to score clutch buckets for the roadrunners, helping them tie the game against Clackamas community college with a brilliant display of athleticism. But aside from basketball, and spending copious amounts of hours in the learning center studying; Everett enjoys eating vegetables from Winco. Everett is a vegetarian, he say he is because he prefers tofu and also says it is more sustainable for the environment to practice a vegetarian diet. Everett enjoys Linn Benton because he has “met some cool people, enjoyed classes as well.”
