Landmark


Avery park marks the location of one Corvallis's famous destinations. With various attractions for kids, as well as beauty in nature that adults can appreciate. But one of the most iconic parts of this land mark is an old train that used to be functional but has now been made into something kids and young adults can play on. Fun to crawl all around there is no denying the attraction this landmark brings.

Week 6 forum

For my action shot is going to be volleyball players training for a sand volleyball tournament that is coming up. The school has nice sand volleyball courts on campus so preferably when they have practice and the weather is nice. I am really worried that i will have a nice angle, lighting and picture but that i won't be able to capture it as clearly as I want to. I'll try various settings on the camera to try and get it right. For the overall I want to get a shot of the entire game, while the medium I want to get one person being the focus but also have the other players in the background. For my closeup I want to get a shot of somebody hitting the ball or approaching a spike because I feel that is the slam dunk or home run equivalent but in volleyball.

With plans to graduate in the summer majoring in criminal justice, he wants to attend Western Oregon University and finish his bachelors in criminal justice, but for now, he enjoys Linn Benton because “the instructors are very caring, and truly do a good job.” Gabriel could not stay away from the basketball court after high school as he still coaches youth basketball while being a full time student. Week 5 blog forum

Nico Wolff 5/3/19 Week 5 Blog forum Lindsey Addario has had some extreme adventures shooting in Afghanistan, I thought that some of the experiences she had such as being captured were very intense and really made me question whether or not it was all worth it. Is being a photographer of a meaningful event, giving people that do not have a voice a fair representation, as well as informing people around the world about a crisis really worth it? For her, I can see why it is, despite having fear and maybe a lot of second guesses about letting her work dominate her personal life, but also make her put a comfortable life she had in the United States aside. To me, this is an extremely high level of devotion, it really capsulate what it means to be great at something in my opinion. Some of the lessons I can learn from Addario is how good a job she does by really being discrete, just a fly on the wall that people don't notice as she photographs them.
