College level sand volleyball

The Linn Benton community College girls volleyball team rallies through the heat to get a practice session in as they prepare for a sand volleyball tournaments against other schools in the area. Linn-Benton has an extremely talented women's volleyball team and coach Jayme Frazier is incredibly excited about her team heading into the new season. Preparing in the sand as the sun comes down with great force is a great way to get in shape for the season, but also have fun doing it.

Week 6 forum

For my action shot is going to be volleyball players training for a sand volleyball tournament that is coming up. The school has nice sand volleyball courts on campus so preferably when they have practice and the weather is nice. I am really worried that i will have a nice angle, lighting and picture but that i won't be able to capture it as clearly as I want to. I'll try various settings on the camera to try and get it right. For the overall I want to get a shot of the entire game, while the medium I want to get one person being the focus but also have the other players in the background. For my closeup I want to get a shot of somebody hitting the ball or approaching a spike because I feel that is the slam dunk or home run equivalent but in volleyball.

Week 2 Humans of LBCC

Haley King  Haley King is a full time student at Linn-Benton Community college. She came here so she could easily transfer to her dream school, Oregon State University. She wants to major in psychology and eventually go on and work for a non profit organization, helping others anyway she can as that is what she is passionate about in life. Haley is from Vancouver, Washington and moved to Oregon to attend school. She loves Oregon and Washington but she said her dream would be to live in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.    Mason Lux Mason Lux is an Environmental science major who plans to transfer from Linn Benton Community College to Oregon State University. Mason is from Vancouver, Washington and moved all the way to Albany in order to attend Linn Benton. He works at Sedicci's pizza part time while being a full time student.
